Using a SEL (Social Emotional Learning) toolkit developed by “With These Hands I Can,” the exhibit encourages ownership and fosters ongoing dialogue through art. Featuring portraits and stories written by local farmworkers, this exhibit aims to take up space, be seen, and amplify their voices. Transformed into a bustling marketplace, the Bazaar del Mundo Shops will welcome talented artists from Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Ecuador and other Latin American countries to showcase authentic Mexican folk art, traditional clothing and textiles, San Diego’s largest collection of authentic Mata Ortiz pottery and so much more, including live musical entertainment.
