A poetry writing competition will be held at PHES Gallery in conjunction with “Story Quilts.” Please join us for a creative dive into ekphrastic poetry - poetry written in response to art. The public will have the opportunity to write a poem (or poems) in response to the show at the Gallery. Submissions will be accepted through June 11. Each entry must include the quilt number, your name, and the title of your poem. Poems will be performed in the Gallery courtyard on June 25 at 5 p.m., followed by a poet's reception. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 poems.
