The Maui native uses local, fresh ingredients to serve Asian and Pacific classics like Huli Huli chicken, Loco Moco, Spam Musubi and Kalei’s signature Garlic Chicken. Kalei’s Kitchenette is a small business partner of FOODWORKS, a restaurant and small business incubator founded by John Coker under global food service leader Compass Group. All donated items, including 200 brand-new Jive 2-in-1 convertible car seats, will be distributed by Miracle Babies to families in the NICU that have been identified by social workers and hospitals with an annual income of less than $80,000.
