In 2020, Puth’s collaboration with Gabby Barrett on their “I Hope” Remix earned him his fourth top 10 track on the Billboard Hot 100, hit number one on the Billboard “Adult Pop Songs” chart, and won a 2021 Billboard Music Award for “Top Collaboration.” Puth also co-wrote and produced The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s record-breaking single, “Stay,” which quickly become one of the biggest songs of 2021; "Stay" holds the title for the longest-reigning No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and the first to lead it for double-digits – spending a total of eleven weeks at the top of the chart.   • North Park Main Street (NPMS) will host its second annual North Park Music Fest on Saturday, May 27 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, May 28 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., welcoming live art, interactive experiences, craft beer, craft cocktails, and live music and embodying the eclectic vibe North Park is known for. Tickets are available through here. 1-day tickets for $45 and 2-day tickets for $60. Proceeds from this event benefit North Park Main Street, a non-profit organization committed to the development of the North Park Business Improvement District.   • Welcoming its loyal following of neighborhood regulars and foodies far-and-wide, The Cottage La Jolla is set to host a pop-up dining event on Friday, May 19, in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Executive Chef Paolo Chan—a Marine Veteran-turned-chef who’s presided over The Cottage’s homestyle classics and cult favorites since joining the team in 2019— brings his Polynesian roots and worldwide travels to the forefront through an eight-course, prix-fixe menu. Weaving multicultural influences of pan-Asian cuisine throughout, the east-meets-west lineup features dishes like seaweed pesto udon with seared ahi, grilled adobo musubi and sisig bahn mi. Tickets are priced at $85 per person with a portion of proceeds benefitting the San Diego Asian Pacific Islander Coalition, a group of local organizations and advocates for San Diego’s AAPI community.
