There will be several fine art shows during the event, including Skate of Mind – State of Mind at Sophie’s Gallery - a collection of hand-painted and mosaic skateboard decks. Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB) in partnership with Empower by GoDaddy (NYSE: GDDY) is holding a no cost virtual business summit to support immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs. According to an American Economic Review study, “immigrants are 80% more likely to start a business than people born in the U.S.” The educational summit will offer support and tools such as micro-financing and resources to help these entrepreneurs succeed. Immigrant and refugee entrepreneur speakers will also share stories on their journey and how they became an entrepreneur in the community.
