We will do various craft projects for the garden, and have a special guest who will teach us about planting and growing flowers and food. We’ll complete garden-related projects in wood, ceramics, and other craft mediums! Our gardeners will build their garden skills literally through building projects such as a small planter box. They’ll make several quality craft projects to take home. This camp is recommended for school-age children 8yrs and up. Projects and depth of garden learning are matched up to the children’s age/ability. What to bring: A sun hat or sunscreen if your child is sensitive to sun. It’s best to dress in layers. We will be outdoors. Children need closed-toe shoes and long hair tied back. Bring a refillable water bottle and a snack. If there is a camp ending as ours begins and you need your child transferred, let us know! If you’d like your camper to stay during the lunch hour, there’s a $20 fee for the week to cover the lunchtime gap. They can bring a lunch and have lunch with us with the option to do a fun craft after lunch.   • July 17 – 21 from 1 – 4 p.m. Beach Bags & Bucket Hats | This week of Summer Camp is all about sewing, sewing basics, and accessory design. Campers will add their own flare to the perfect beach day by making their own projects! Acquire new sewing skills such as reading a pattern, proper cutting procedures, all about zippers and more! In this camp they will take home their very own bucket hat and personalized beach bag. Come join us for a fun summer sewing experience. No sewing experience necessary! This camp is recommended for 8-18yrs. What to bring: A sun hat or sunscreen if your child is sensitive to sun. It’s best to dress in layers. We will be outdoors. Bring a refillable water bottle with water in it and a snack (no sugar or peanut products please). Bring your sewing machine if you have one. If not, let us know you need to borrow. There is a morning Fashion Design Camp from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. this same week. If you’d like your camper to stay, there’s a $20 fee for the week to cover the 1-hr gap.
