Home Start’s Hallo-Wine Fall Festival is held every October in recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and raises funds for the organization’s core programs that provide critical assistance to vulnerable children, families, and individuals. Home Start has been serving San Diegans in need for over 50 years. Guests will savor a fantastic array of gourmet hors d’oeuvres, boutique wines, hand-crafted beers, and local spirits. Dozens of local vendors will be sharing their products and providing samples to all. Attendees can also expect live entertainment, a silent auction, and games and activities. A highlight of the event is a powerful success story shared by a client on how Home Start has helped her and her family. “Local families are struggling more than ever, and Home Start continues to be the resource they can count on in times of need,” said Laura Tancredi-Baese, Home Start’s Chief Executive Officer. “We invite the community to join us at Hallo-Wine and rally behind our mission to strengthen families.
