While we cannot protect children from the pain they are experiencing, we can help them feel supported and teach them healthy coping skills. The Elizabeth Hospice is offering a FREE six-week series of workshops for children and teens. The program is open to all community members, ages 7 to 17. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays, June 28 through August 2, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., via Zoom. These workshops are designed to help kids reduce their feelings of isolation by connecting with others who are experiencing a similar loss.” The Elizabeth Hospice’s grief support services are available to everyone in San Diego County and Southwest Riverside County, including families who do not have a patient affiliation with the organization.
