Students are guided through the use of routers and drills to remove material for fitting the components. Students learn to safely use the machinery and tools required to complete their own instrument. Students learn how to solder the components, install pick guard, strings and all parts needed. We will show how to finish your guitar and install all components so it’s ready to play by the end of the workshop.Materials are provided. This class is open to all levels, but taking Intro to the Woodshop first is recommended. Please note: This workshop takes place indoors. Depending on finish choice, students may need to come back outside of the 5 weeks for one or 2 visits to add coats of finish. We’ll work with you.
