  • This week of Summer Camp is all about crafts, crafts & more crafts! If you know a teen who loves making & learning new crafts, this camp is for them! We’ll cover a variety of traditional and modern craft mediums, incorporating creative exploration, fine motor skill practice, skill-building, and of course, FUN! We’ll keep things interesting, enjoyable and engaging by meeting each crafter where they’re at. Students will make a variety of fun projects to take home. Teens will explore fiber arts, ceramics, fused glass, woodworking, and more from professional craft artists. OPTIONAL | Lunch Hour Supervision If there is a camp ending as ours begins and you need your child or teen transferred, let us know! If you’d like your child or teen to stay during the lunch hour, there’s a $25 fee for the week to cover the lunchtime gap. They can bring a lunch and have lunch with us with the option to craft after lunch, or head out to grab a lunch and head back to the studio to eat in a safe, welcoming space.   • Shutterbugs Summer Camp for K-2nd graders July 22-26 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Location: Treehouse Academy, Liberty Station Register Here Embark on a fun and creative journey into the world of photography! In this camp designed for K-2nd grade, your little ones will use iPads to explore the basics of photography and stop-motion animation through engaging and hands-on activities. They’ll learn about elements of art such as shapes, color, and lines, perspective in photography (close up, worm’s eye) and elements of portraiture (expression) while using their creativity to capture the world around them through the lens of a camera. Our young photographers will experiment with different photography techniques, go on photo scavenger hunts, create short animations and play games. A vivid imagination is all a student needs to join this action-packed photography and stop-motion animation camp. Equipment and snacks will be provided. This camp is open to K-2nd grade students.
