The Hillcrest Wind Ensemble presents, That's Entertainment! an evening of music from the movies, Broadway, TV, and video games on Saturday, June 18 at Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Airport/Liberty Station. This month-long series is full of hands-on crafts for ages 9 – 12. Projects use safe and natural materials, and range from woodworking to clay, textiles, sewing, and glass. Each project includes exercises that teach skills to young students such as creativity, craftsmanship, hand skills and material exploration, and yes, STEM, although we like to say STEAM because art plays a big part as well.
