Instructor Michelle Natividad Stein teaches students the basics of basket weaving and wood forming in this course. Students learn how to prepare the reed, belly out and taper in the weave as the pack is shaped. They’ll learn to shape wood for the lid, clasp, and stays using a bandsaw, files, and rasps.
