The Kids Fashion Week Network is excited to return to San Diego for its second runway show and third year serving the community of kid entrepreneurs in Southern California. The “Showstoppers Ball, City Legends'' Runway Show will take place on Sunday, September 25, 2022 and will be hosted by Tati from STAR 94.1. The award-winning San Diego Chorus of Sweet Adelines International wants your voice to be heard. The Chorus, a 4-part a cappella harmony group singing in the barbershop style, invites interested singers to join them on October 5, 2022 from 6:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. to learn more about the vocal assessment and audition process. The San Diego Chorus is looking for women and non-binary singers of all ages and backgrounds who love to sing to experience the joy of performing and competing in 4-part a cappella harmony. After a two-year hiatus, the Club will once again open the doors to welcome guests for this grand event. This year’s Boys and Girls Night Out Gala serves as the culminating celebration for our 70th Anniversary. More than 250 attendees, including local officials and supporters, attend each year. The fundraising event will feature a delectable dinner, performances from talented Club youth and ROAD’s members, a live and silent auction, a wine pull, and live entertainment. The evening will also feature BGCO’s 2022-2023 Youth of the Year, Melinda Maldonado. Melinda was awarded this coveted title by a panelist of judges for exemplifying our mission.
