In this talk we consider the manner in which the masculine presence has developed over time. How have changes in the political climates affected the presentation of men in society, or has it actually changed at all? Do men suffer from the same style pressures as women? What differences do their countries and societies of origin create? The Timken showcases a collection of male portraits by preeminent artists of the time revealing the changes in male pictorial style across history, geography and time. Date | Thursday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to noon Location | Online Register here! This event is free and open to the public.
