Raised on Chicago's Southside, Chef Jonathan Zaragoza, inspired by his family's strong cooking roots, began learning the art of making birria at the age of 12, later opening Birrieria Zaragoza in 2007, and with a culinary journey spanning from Michelin-starred establishments to his own restaurants, he continues to showcase his Mexican heritage and traditions internationally while managing Birrieria Zaragoza and El Oso. Frida Lucia is currently showcasing her mixology skills at Aruba Day Drink in Tijuana, Baja California. The bar achieved a remarkable feat, securing the 40th spot among the best bars in North America in 2023.
