According to the Navy, the pilot ejected safely and was later treated and released at a Fallon, Nevada hospital. Both the pilot and the aircraft are assigned to the Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323, based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. -
Iran's Naval leader, Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, said on that country's state-owned television today that he plans to have Iranian warships sailing off the coast of the United States "in the next few years."
