An expansion to the South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant is in the works Wednesday and could be just 100 days away, according to an announcement by two federal agencies.

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Wednesday to shift money from a homeless shelter project in the community of Lakeside to a sleeping cabins site in the city of Lemon Grove.

The San Diego City Council Wednesday approved turning a former skydiving facility in East Village into 164 affordable housing units under an agreement with Father Joe's Villages.
