Elouie Gopez
News AssistantElouie Gopez works in the KPBS newsroom as an assistant and call screener for KPBS Midday Edition. Elouie currently attends San Diego State University where he is pursuing a master’s degree in mass communication & media studies. He previously attended SDSU during his undergraduate studies, graduating with a degree in journalism in 2010. Elouie is a San Diego native and alumni of Mount Carmel High School. He is currently a member of SDSU’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter. Outside of school and work, Elouie is an avid video game enthusiast, and also enjoys reading and playing basketball in his spare time.
