A search of a large suspected "drug house" in Encinitas Tuesday resulted in a half-dozen arrests for various violations, sheriff's officials said.

The sheriff's SWAT team served a search warrant in the morning at the 3,500-square-foot house on Rancho Encinitas Drive near Caminito Ricardo.

The house had been the subject of several calls regarding suspicious and alleged drug-related activity for about a year, sheriff's Sgt. Richard George said.

Deputies previously arrested homeowner Anastasia Kirkeby, 49, on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon and Jeremy Henry, 38, a controlled substance possession charge.

The SWAT team descended about 6 a.m. on the house, which the residents had made several modifications to, and used pepper spray to flush out those inside about 45 minutes later, said sheriff's Capt. Theresa Adams-Hydar.

The first to be taken into custody were Jeremy Dinwiddie, who was wanted on a felony warrant in a stalking case, and Jessica Wilkenson on suspicion of heroin possession. Henry was also taken into custody on suspicion of being an accessory to a crime, as were Paul Povency and John Switzer, George said.

Kirby was later found in a hidden room behind a bookcase and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of furnishing a drug house, the sergeant said.
