About 1,600 pandas live in the wild. To keep them from becoming extinct, researchers are taking part in intensive panda reproduction efforts. Host Tom Fudge speaks with Don Lindburg of the Giant Panda Conservation Division at the San Diego Zoo.

Don Lindburg will present a lecture this evening about the facts on panda reproduction. The event begins at 7 PM. Tickets are 12 dollars for zoo members and 14 dollars for non-members. And of course, you can always check out the Panda Web Cam on the San Diego Zoo's web site.
