Bush: People affected by the fires can now file for assistance.

Robert Trujillo slouched in a plastic chair, overlooking a nearly empty sunlit stadium field, his eyes fixed on President Bush on a television above him. Trujillo lost almost everything he owned in this fire. He lived in Ramona. Now he lives here. He thought the President said the right things.

Trujillo: What else was he going to say? No, but I believe him. He's here to make sure that everything, all the funding is going to go where it's supposed to go.

Trujillo wrote down the toll free number for FEMA assistance the President gave during his speech. He says he'll be calling soon.
