A new book, “Eat Less Water,” describes how water is used in the production of what we eat and gives guidelines on how to choose lower water-use foods.

The book's author, Florencia Ramirez, joined Midday Edition on Wednesday to discuss how to "Eat Less Water."

Ramirez will discuss and sign her book at 7 p.m., Thursday at The Book Catapult, 3010-B Street in the South Park neighborhood of San Diego.
