Vampires are everywhere right now and not everybody is happy about it. Among the disenchanted are a group of steampunk enthusiasts working as modern-day ghostbusters. They call themselves The League of S.T.E.A.M. I photographed a number of them at Comic-Con this year. According to their website, The League of S.T.E.A.M (Supernatural and Troublesome Ectoplasmic Apparition Management) is "an organization comprised of Inventors, Scientists, Adventurers, Craftsmen, Monster and Creature Hunters, and Paranormal Researchers."
The League has decided to do their part in stamping out the vampire craze, beginning with a hunt in the likeliest of places: a Los Angeles theater hosting a midnight screening of teenage vamp romance "New Moon." Here's a little video from their hunt.
