Immigration Reform Activists Head to Washington
As proposed immigration reform is expected, pro-immigration activists head to Washington.

A bipartisan group of Senators known as the "Gang of Eight" may release proposed immigration legislation by the end of the week.

That has immigrants and reformers from all over the country heading to Washington to push for a bill that includes a path to citizenship.

The activists, including dozens from Phoenix, will lobby for legislation that keeps immigrant families together and provides a path to citizenship for immigrants currently in the country illegally.

"We want Congress to make a decision now, Easter Break is over, there is no time for rest," said Melissa Molina of the United Farm Workers Foundation in Phoenix.

A national rally for citizenship is scheduled at the U.S. Capitol's West Lawn on Wednesday.

Organizers say they expect tens of thousands of people to attend.
