Warmer Than Usual Temperatures To Last Through Thursday

A ridge along the West Coast will bring fair skies and warmer than usual temperatures to San Diego County Wednesday and Thursday, meteorologists said.

Daytime highs will be 6 to 15 degrees above average for this time of year, according to the National Weather Service, which said the average high in the county Wednesday and Thursday would be 70.

It will be warmest in the valleys, mountains and deserts, the weather service said.

"The ridge will weaken by the weekend, allowing night and morning low clouds to push further inland and bringing high temperatures back to seasonal averages," the agency said.
