I would like everyone reading this blog to please take just a minute and tell me your favorite war movie, or movies, of all time.
Your choices can depict any war film, past or present, they can be fact or fiction, they can be anti-war, they can be satirical, they can be dramas, comedies, science fiction, love stories, pure combat, you name it. They can be about anything from the home front during war to the front lines. They can be about the American Revolution to the Civil War to World War I to World War II to Korea to Vietnam to the Gulf War to the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, etc. And they can be old films or new ones, famous or obscure.
Anything having to do with war and the military, I just want to know what film(s) had the biggest impact on YOU, and why.
I would love everyone to participate in this. Please send your one favorite film, or your top FIVE or even your top TEN. It's totally up to you! I'd also like you to tell me why you picked the one(s) you picked. I want your opinion, I want you to tell me why you chose the films you chose.
Just go to the comments section at the bottom of this page. I know, there are so many great movies, it's very hard for me to pick. But try to come up with at least five if you possibly can. I'm eager to see your choices.
