Latest News on the Jet Explosion Aboard the USS Stennis (Video)

A fighter jet exploded on the deck of the aircraft carrier the USS Stennis about 100 miles off the coast of Southern California yesterday, according to the Los Angeles Times. The explosion injured ten people, and four of the injured were flown for medical care to Naval Medical Center San Diego. The L.A. Times reports that while the home port of the Stennis is in Washington state, the fighter jet "is fromMarine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 101, based at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station."
