U.S. Helicopter Crashes In Afghanistan, No Deaths Reported

No one was killed when a U.S. helicopter crashed in eastern Afghanistan today, according to International Security Assistance Force officials.

All crew members have been recovered and ISAF members have secured the crash scene in Kapisa province.

ISAF officials are investigating the cause of the crash.

NATO-ISAF spokesman Maj. Adam Wojack told Stars and Stripes the helicopter that crashed was a two-seater, but would not give any information as to the model of the downed aircraft.

Stars and Stripes reports the Taliban is claiming responsibility for shooting down the helicopter. But take that with a grain of salt, because they also say everyone on board was killed.
