Putting a Stop to an Execution in Texas

Thursday, Texas Gov. Rick Perry stopped the execution of a death row inmate who was scheduled to die hours later. It was a rare move for a state that has executed more inmates than any other. It came after media reports and pressure from the European Union to halt the execution.
