The first session will be woodworking, and the second session will be ceramics tiny wheel throwing. Taught by skilled educators and professional artists, your child will explore these crafts in a creative and supportive setting. As we build hand skills, we’ll make fun, high-quality crafts children later get to take home. Our projects are geared to build and hone skills like hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, problem solving, teamwork/helping others, comprehension + exploration of a variety of materials — mainly wood and clay. Projects and depth of craft exploration are matched up to the child’s age and ability. It’s important that your child bring water in a refillable bottle and a snack (no candy or peanut products please). We’ll break for snack in between the sessions.
