Water for People San Diego Committee along with Avista and KSDS Jazz 88.3 are proud to present Jazz on Tap 2025, a charity Jazz concert to support Water For People, a global nonprofit promoting the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services. The jazz festival will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Quartyard. Doors open at 1:15 p.m., with live music starting at 2 p.m. grooving away until 8 p.m. There will be food, drinks and live high-energy jazz music, highlighting local artists in a fun outdoor setting. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $45 each. Discover the artistic synergy of San Diego artists Susie Zol and Denise Cerro in their latest exhibition, "2 Artists 2 Mediums". This show features original ceramics pieces and paintings, showcasing their shared journey and creative evolution. Susie transforms her abstracted portraits into ceramics, while Denise reimagines her mixed media paintings with clay and glazes. Susie and Denise have painted together in several artist studios in San Diego through the years, and are currently members of the F1VEart Studio & Gallery as well as the Creative Academy where they create ceramic works, both in the Arts District of Liberty Station. These two artist simultaneously turned their creative interest towards clay and ceramics and rather than turning from painting on canvas, they each have found their own way of combining the two mediums.
