4 Thursdays each month from 4 – 5:30 p.m. Ages 6-12 welcome! This month-long series is full of hands-on, engaging crafts using STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics). These hands-on activities will allow your child to express themselves in a creative way while practicing and building fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination and much more. This series is a wonderful introduction to a creative and nurturing learning environment. Projects encourage problem-solving in creative and innovative ways, and include wood, textiles, clay, paper, and glass arts. Students will make fun, beautiful pieces to take home over the course of the series. Students explore a variety of mediums to teach hand skills to children using safe, natural materials. Each project teaches craftsmanship, dexterity and material exploration. Projects range from woodworking, sewing, ceramics, paper crafts, textiles to fusing glass. Young students will make beautiful pieces to take home over the course of the series. All materials included.
