Sophie's Gallery and Bread & Cie present Skate of Mind - State of Mind, a collection of hand-painted skateboards by artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Artists explored themes of independence while creating personal stories of inspiration places they have visited or wish to visit. Along their journey artists learned new techniques including perspective, composition, texture, color, using different paint mediums and tools. and working collaboratively together. Skate of Mind runs July 6 through August 10. Sophie's Gallery is an art program of St. Madeleine Sophie's Center. All skateboards are for sale and benefit the artists and Sophie's Gallery.
