About Beth Accomando | KPBS Arts and Culture Reporter, "Cinema Junkie" Host Beth Accomando is the KPBS arts and culture reporter. She is also the host of the Cinema Junkie Podcast. In her spare time she is a volunteer programmer with Film Geeks SD, which brings unique movie programs to Digital Gym Cinema and Comic-Con Museum. Yazdi is a scientist by training, working as a Clinical Pharmacologist at Pfizer Inc, and is Assistant Clinical Professor (Voluntary) at the UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy. He has been blogging about cinema for the past fifteen years. He is a member of the San Diego Film Critics Society, and has been serving as its elected Secretary since 2014.
