Beth Accomando is the KPBS arts and culture reporter. She is also the host of the Cinema Junkie Podcast. In her spare time she is a volunteer programmer with Film Geeks SD, which brings unique movie programs to Digital Gym Cinema and Comic-Con Museum. Yazdi K. Pithavala is a lead film reviewer for Moviewallas.com which has published more than 500 podcast episodes. Yazdi is a scientist by training, working as a Clinical Pharmacologist at Pfizer Inc, and is Assistant Clinical Professor (Voluntary) at the UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy. He has been blogging about cinema for the past fifteen years. He is a member of the San Diego Film Critics Society, and has been serving as its elected Secretary since 2014. He is a frequent guest on "KPBS Midday Edition" to discuss film. There is nothing he would rather spend time on than attend film festivals.
