To celebrate the first anniversary of our art gallery in Carlsbad, we are sponsoring a one-day pop-up arts and crafts festival! Ongoing Thursdays from 2-3:30 p.m. Ages 9-12 Welcome! Guest instructors teach this month-long series full of hands-on, engaging crafts using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) to teach hand skills to kids using safe materials. Each project teaches craftsmanship, dexterity and material exploration. Projects range from woodworking, sewing, ceramics, paper crafts, textiles to fusing glass. The program includes songs from Otis Redding, Ray Charles, the Allman Brothers Band, R.E.M., Outkast, the B-52s, and Brook Benton.
