A truly All-Artisan fair, where all the works are hand-crafted and sold by the artists and crafters themselves. Outside wine bars, a food court and over 85 Hand-picked vendors from across Southern California, with everything from handmade jewelry, soaps, paintings and sculpture, local honey, clothing, pottery, items for the home and garden and much more! Admission is free. Families welcome! No pets are permitted on winery grounds (no exceptions) except for service dogs that are trained to aid a disabled person. Bringing cash as well as cards is recommended as some vendors only accept cash. There is no ATM at the winery. No outside food and beverage.

San Diego Botanic Garden (SDBG) Summer exhibition, "World of Houseplants", is officially in full swing running through Monday, September 5. With 66% of American households owning at least one houseplant (according to a 2020 Statista survey) and millennials driving 2021 houseplant sales (according to Garden Center Magazine), green thumbs can flock to take in San Diego Botanic Garden's World of Houseplants which has incorporated hundreds more houseplants, from easy, everyday plants to rare species to its already impressive collection of air plants, aroids, carnivorous plants and wax plants. SDBG is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Monday. Members of SDBG and other gardens participating in the American Horticultural Society's Reciprocal Admissions Program receive free admission. SDBG members get exclusive access to the exhibition on Sundays, 9 - 10 am. Non-member admissions range from $12 to $18. Entrance to the exhibition includes access to the rest of the Garden’s 37 acres during the same visit. The seven week run of World of Houseplants, will feature: Displays in the Garden’s state-of-the-art, 8,000 square foot, glass-enclosed facility, the Dickinson Family Education Conservatory, which will be enhanced in immersive, artistic designs incorporating hundreds of additional plants brought in for the exhibition On select days, vendors from the US and abroad will sell everyday plants and collector cuttings, potting materials, unique pots, and other houseplant products. SDBG will offer multiple classes and hand-on workshops to share information about caring for plants from begonias to bromeliads, potting techniques and supplies, keeping houseplants looking their best, and things to consider when setting up a plant collection. Exhibition at Spanish Village Explores Different Points of View An exhibition of painting and digital photography, "Points of View" featuring creative works of art is on view at Gallery 21, Spanish Village Art Center, in Balboa Park, 1770 Village Place, San Diego, daily, 11 am - 4 pm, from July 5 through July 18, 2022. A reception will be held on Saturday, July 9 from 1 - 4 pm. The exhibition showcases work by five well known California artists: Marsha Korobkin, Dana Levine, Caroline Morse, Gwen Nobil, and Philip Petrie. Korobkin, a world traveler, brings a simplicity to her images that turn the everyday into exciting abstractions. Levine is displaying images of water and watery reflections in both painting and photography. Morse is an artist who uses color to transform everyday scenes into beautiful paintings. Nobil lets us see landscapes of the southwest with a painter's eye.
