She has an MS from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation and bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Art Conservation from the University of Delaware. She has trained in some of the world’s leading textile conservation labs, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Abegg-Stiftung, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Annabelle strives to make community collaboration an integral part of her conservation practice. She has led numerous collaborative programs and repatriation projects and published widely on the value of community engagement in cultural heritage preservation.
