  • Art Through The Glass is thrilled to announce the opening of "A Life in Color," an exciting new exhibition featuring over 30 talented artists from diverse backgrounds and regions. The exhibition transforms the gallery space into a vivid celebration of creativity, exploring the limitless possibilities of color, form, and expression. The opening reception will take place Sunday, March 28, 2026, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Art Through The Glass, located at 555 Broadway Avenue, Suite 1021, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Guests will have the unique opportunity to meet the artists, engage in discussions about their work, and experience the art in an immersive environment. This exhibition showcases a diverse array of artistic voices and styles, highlighting the dynamic relationship between artists and their communities. "In Situ: La Jolla," presented by San Diego Art Directory as part of the Activated Spaces program, is a curated installation inside the two-story luxury showroom of Unscripted Spaces. Designed as fully realized modern apartments, the space offers a rare opportunity to experience artwork in context—where paintings, sculptures, textiles, and mixed-media pieces interact directly with architecture, light, and furniture. Curator: Blanca Lucia Bergman Blanca Lucia Bergman, MBA, is a San Diego–based art curator and business consultant recognized for producing innovative exhibitions and spearheading cross-industry collaborations. She has curated shows with leading local institutions including the Mingei International Museum, Sparks Gallery, and the San Diego International Airport, as well as alternative art spaces throughout the region. In addition to her curatorial practice, Blanca has served as a juror for both youth and adult art exhibitions at local galleries and museums, bringing a thoughtful and inclusive eye to the evaluation of diverse artistic voices.   • Join the Maritime Museum of San Diego aboard Californian on Saturday, April 18, 2026 for a rare chance to be part of the America’s Schooner Cup Charity Regatta benefiting the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Step aboard Californian, the official tall ship of the state of California, for an unforgettable day on the water during the 38th Annual America’s Schooner Cup, hosted by Silver Gate Yacht Club. This celebrated San Diego regatta brings together schooners of many sizes and vintages for a spectacular race course designed to be enjoyed both from shore and from the bay itself. Only a limited number of guests will have the opportunity to sail aboard Californian and experience the action firsthand as the fleet races off Shelter Island on Saturday, April 18, 2026. More than just a memorable outing, the event also supports the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, helping provide vital assistance to active duty and retired service members and their families.   • Who loves BUGS?! We do! Monday through Friday July 20 – 24, from 1 – 4 p.m. Ages 8-12 years welcome! In this week-long kids camp, campers will explore ceramics, woodworking and paper mache’ for five days of insect-inspired crafting fun! Kids will build raised clay bugs using pinch and coil hand building techniques. Campers will score and slip, adding surface textures with leaves, grass, and other simple tools.
