  • Kids explore working with clay & herbalism in the organic garden! Monday through Friday June 22 – 26, from 1 – 4 p.m. Ages 7-12 years welcome! In this week-long camp, kids will explore ceramics while making fun fairy garden decorations to take home. Kids will also learn all about herbs & herbalism–focusing on learning how to identify herbs while making herbal remedies and incorporating herbs into meals. Kids will learn to harvest, create plant profiles, make herb-infused honey or a simple herbal remedy, and make a yummy treat to share with the herb of the day. We will spend time in the garden watching the plants and how they subtly move and shift towards the sun, enjoying their scents, textures, and drawing them. The children will learn how to activate all their senses to listen to the messages the plants have to share with us. At the end of the week, each child will take home their plant profile-recipe booklet. • Military, first responders and sibling discounts • Scholarships available San Diego Craft Collective on Facebook / Instagram
