  • Center for Community Solutions (CCS) is bringing back the non-profit organization’s annual Bridging Hearts Program, a holiday drive, sponsored by Verizon, to collect gift card donations for survivors of relationship and sexual violence so they can purchase holiday gifts for their families. More than 90 percent of CCS’ clients qualify as low-to-moderate income and cannot afford to purchase gifts for loved ones. Bridging Hearts is often the only hope for holiday celebrations and joy for countless survivors, including children. Providing a gift card so that survivors themselves are able to pick out and purchase gifts for their children, is a gift itself. Beyond providing holiday cheer, your support is a reminder that they are not alone. The goal is to help one hundred families with an average gift of $100 in gift cards per household. Every donation of $25 will help one person on our waiting list —any donation will make a difference! Date | Friday, November 19 through Saturday, December 21 Location | Center for Community Solutions East and North County offices Gift cards may be dropped off at our Pacific Beach office. Please call (858) 272-5777 to set a drop off time to ensure we have staff on site to receive your gift cards. Donors may also make a contribution to CCS Bridging Hearts online here. For more information, please visit the Bridging Hearts at CSS website or call (858) 272-5777.
