Drawing I will delve into line drawing, contour drawing, and the basics of portraiture, with all students completing finished works suitable for framing and exhibition by the end of the course. Participants in the workshop will have the opportunity to develop better observational skills, improve hand-eye coordination, work with short and long poses, experiment with mark-making using charcoal, explore lines, shapes, and values, and learn to draw in a loose and expressive manner.
