  • Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar founder of Chakra Institute presents “Spiritual Baby – Raising emotionally healthy babies.” In this lecture parents and healthcare specialists will be empowered with a deeper understanding of the developmental stage through the lens of Microchakra™ Psychology. • Allow for deeper bonding. • Create subtle communication cues between parents and baby. • Build essential connection through loving touch. • Introduce sounds to create intimacy with the baby. • Prevent psychological distress and emotional deprivation. This talk is especially good for mothers and fathers to be, young adults looking forward to having family, anyone in the process of self-reflection looking to understand what might have happened in their own childhood, spiritual practitioners, childcare professionals, teachers who instruct others in how to raise children, and those assisting in the birthing process. Spiritual Baby gives voice to the babies whose experience we often misinterpret. The methods discussed will help a baby to find contentment through loving security and grow to manage their emotions, care for others, and ascend a path of their choosing. Please join founder of Chakra Institute, Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar who will share his knowledge of Microchakra™ Psychology and build a passionate argument for reimagining the way we parent and birth our babies. • Do you worry about how you, your friends or your children will be able to afford housing in the future? Have you been listening to the debate about adding accessory dwelling units (“granny flats”) following the recent state legislation? Are you concerned about whether there is sufficient infrastructure such as water and parking to handle additional housing? Come to this LWVSD event where you will hear two local experts discuss these questions and more. Then we’ll break into small groups and share opinions and strategies. Two local experts will speak on opposing views: Andrea Schlageter is the new Chair of the Community Planning Groups. She has been the Chair of the Ocean Beach Planning Board and is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in political science. Geoffrey Hueter is a data science executive who is a leader in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and program management. He is one of the founders of Neighbors for a Better San Diego which is a grassroots organization that was started to protect neighborhoods from the development of apartment buildings in the backyards of single-family homes.
