This ancient craft connects all ages with its range of options, from simple to complex. In this week-long camp, kids will explore the art & craft of weaving on a variety of looms. Using the principles of STEAM while honing fine motor skills and problem-solving, kids & teens will: -Learn about different fiber properties -Make and use a variety of looms to weave on -Design patterns and explore color palettes -Explore their own styles -And actively do math with hands-on creative weaving! This camp is recommended for kids and teens, ages 8-16 years. OPTIONAL | Lunch Hour Supervision If there is a camp ending as ours begins and you need your child or teen transferred, let us know! If you’d like your child or teen to stay during the lunch hour, there’s a $25 fee for the week to cover the lunchtime gap. They can bring a lunch and have lunch with us with the option to craft after lunch, or head out to grab a lunch and head back to the studio to eat in a safe, welcoming space.
