Inside SDPD is a dynamic, behind-the-scenes experience that allows community members to walk in the shoes of a police officer for just a few hours. Led by San Diego police officers, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in de-escalation, use-of-force, vehicle stops, and simulated firearms training activities. You'll also see the K9 unit in action and experience first-hand what it's like to be a cop. This educational and interactive experience is designed for all physical levels, including mobility device users. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
