  • San Diego Writers, Ink brings to you part two of four Literary Salon meetings on Cormac McCarthy’s "All the Pretty Horses" being held in January. For best results, participants should plan to finish reading the novel before the meeting. More accessible than McCarthy’s “darker” work, "All the Pretty Horses" is arguably McCarthy’s most readable, narratively driven work. Is this a traditional cowboy tale, rife with adventure, horses, romance, and mythic sunset, or is McCarthy’s craft telling a different story? What are the themes that pervade McCarthy’s novel? What is the novel fixated on? How are those questions made apparent? Date | Tuesday, January 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Location | Online via Zoom Register here! Members: $20 Nonmembers: $25 You will be emailed the Zoom link 24 hours before the start of class. If you sign up less than 24 hours before the start of the class, please email Kristen at programs@sandiegowriters.org for your link.
