Fall Equinox is that time of the year when the hours of daylight and nighttime are of equal length, it’s also the time of celebrating the harvest and preparing for the winter ahead. In this Equinox observance, we’ll gather in San Diego’s expansive Balboa Park to observe and respond to the changing of the season. During our time together, we’ll discuss Equinox lore and legend, and explore our many links and connections with the season and retreat into our notebooks and journals to harvest remembrances of summer-past and note our intentions for the coming season. Miracle Babies, a nonprofit organization whose mission is dedicated to helping perinatal mothers and their families during their time of need by providing transportation, mental health assistance and supportive services, is ditching its traditional fall gala season and inviting the community to bring out their flared pants, maxi dress, and fringe at Boogie 4 Babies.
