San Diego leaders on Thursday presented legendary soccer player Alex Morgan with the key to the city, acknowledging her contributions to the sport and advocacy for equal pay in women's sports.

Established in 1983, the women's museum will integrate into the history center, which was founded in 1928.

Supervisors voted on the measure after hearing a staff presentation on county efforts to help residents affected by pollution.

The Department of Justice said the 22nd District Agricultural Association was not eligible for such a loan because it is a government-owned entity.

In late January, supervisors voted 4-1 to spend $10 million to assist recovery efforts after flooding damaged homes.

For people who want to register after Monday, they will have to visit the San Diego County Registrar of Voters' office in Kearny Mesa or visit a vote center to provisionally register between Saturday and Nov. 5.

Earlier this month, supervisors unanimously voted to oppose any further placements of sexually violent predators until local jurisdictions are able to fully participate in the placement process, including having full veto authority.
