National Weather Service San Diego has issued a red flag warning for Wednesday morning through Thursday.

Two venerable San Diego organizations — the San Diego Blood Bank and Father Joe's Villages — will turn 75 in 2025, with both opening new facilities in the new year, it was announced Friday.

The Inclement Weather Shelter Program for homeless San Diegans was activated Tuesday by the San Diego Housing Commission in partnership with the city of San Diego.

Earlier this month, supervisors unanimously voted to oppose any further placements of sexually violent predators until local jurisdictions are able to fully participate in the placement process, including having full veto authority.
