Some San Diego County beach areas have been deemed unhealthy for swimmers and surfers Monday because of high bacteria levels.

Around 650 beds are being taken out of inventory due to planned developments some shelters and scheduled closures of several temporary ones.

More than a dozen Southern California retailers were sued by the San Diego City Attorney's Office.

They face up to six years and four months in prison if convicted of all counts and allegations.

The rink will be open Thursday until Jan. 5 and for special holiday hours on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

Father Joe's Villages: Joan Kroc Center, the Paul Mirabile Center and Living Water Church of the Nazarene have made beds available for people experiencing homelessness.

Earlier this month, supervisors unanimously voted to oppose any further placements of sexually violent predators until local jurisdictions are able to fully participate in the placement process, including having full veto authority.
